Study on Income Inequality and Effect of Income Distribution Through National Pension of Middle to Advanced Women-Householders by Possibility of Receiving a Pension
Kang Byung-Chang

Abstract
The purpose of this research lies in analyzing the effect of income redistribution through national pension of middle to advanced women householders and presenting a practical policy. For this research, the researchers referenced the first and second data of KReIS(Korean Retirement and Income Study) and came up with this conclusion. Considering the degree of inequality, a 10-stage distribution rate spreads from 51.5% to 69.2%, and Gini coefficient degree spreads from 0.249 to 0.386, which each of them represents a considerable margin with the whole households and income inequality is especially large in women-householders of producing generation. On the analysis of earning rate, the decrease of earning rate is clear as the term of admission increases. And net pension is much lesser in the elementary graduates and women part and pension-recipient generation. Based on this analysis, the researchers suggested easing of the lowest application terms in national pension system to producing generation and elimination of supporting duty¡¯s standard and introduction of relative poverty line and realization of basic pension through income or property survey to pension-recipient generation and pension-excluded generation.
